Lost yourself in motherhood?

Find yourself suddenly nursing a tiny human and feeling like you’ve lost yourself?

Has your usual goal-kicking, to-do list loving self been replaced by an anxious, sleep-obsessed mum-zombie?

Are your fears of doing ‘it’ wrong taking over?

Or maybe, you are ‘shoulding’ over everything:

  • I should be a natural at this;
  • I should be able to soothe all cries;
  • I should know what I am doing;
  • I shouldn’t have to ask for help.

No matter what’s worrying you right now, I want to be the support system to you, that I didn’t know I needed.

IF YOU NOD IN AGREEMENT AT ANY OF THE FOLLOWING

READ ON (I have something special for you)

  • You’re tired of trying to be the perfect everything? Mum. Wife. Employee. Friend. Sister. Daughter.

  • You feel trapped and like you’ve lost parts of yourself (Didn’t I surf/do yoga/go camping/travel/ eat outside of my living room?!)

  • Motherhood is tougher than you expected and you’re not fully enjoying yourself.

Introducing my new one-on-one coaching service

Hi, I’m Amanda, your private cheer leader and fellow first-time mum.

I help 9-5 career driven women smoothly transition over to motherhood (& even back again).

I want you to know that all those doubts you’re having or feelings that you ‘shouldn’t’ and ‘can’t’ be feeling – are totally & absolutely normal.

I would know, I’ve dedicated my life to coaching women, like you, on all of this

You’re my type of woman if:

  • You’ve recently given birth and you’re just trying to adjust to the foreign newness that is, having a tiny human now in your full-time care.
  • You’re past all that. Your baby is becoming their own little person but you feel like you need to reconnect to you.

No matter which stage of ‘motherhood’ you’re currently at:

I’VE GOT YOU

I’m offering a handful of first-time mums the chance to work with me one-on-one via one of my 3 packages:

So, who am I to be coaching you?

  • I get what it’s like to have been so career-focused: I spent 8 years as a medical researcher (PhD in physiotherapy), and I’ve spent the last 3 years studying how to reduce the major global health threat that is antibiotic resistance.
  • I have a Masters level qualification in teaching
  • I’ve studied in Canada with Health Psychologists – so, I probably understand the way our tricky women mind’s work, better than the next person
  • Apparently I know what I’m talking about. My research articles have been published in 24 medical publications online. Some of those included The Medical Journal of Australia, the Journal American Medical Association (JAMA) Internal Medicine and the Cochrane Library.

I’ve been through it all – trodden the path leading from career blazing worker girl, to pregnancy, to mummy-in-training, to solopreneur.

I’ve felt the fear of doing it wrong, or like you’re failing because you haven’t ticked off anything on your to-do list. But, I’ve finally learnt how to feel joy again, accept my imperfections, and to relax and enjoy MY journey. You can too, I’ll show you how.

Here’s what some Not Just Mum clients have to say about me:

I know what you’re thinking:

  1. That you shouldn’t have to ask for help (isn’t that weak?!). You should be able to work it out on you own.
  2. Why work with me and not someone else?
  3. Can I really afford you at a time when I should be saving for the baby?

Well, I’m here to tell you that our minds are talented tricksters when it comes to convincing us that we should be doing better or we should be able to manage. The reality is that thousands of other women are feeling the same way you are.

So, what are you waiting for? Book in for a complimentary chat here and let’s get this ball rolling!

BUT WAIT,

 IF THIS IS YOU:

  1. You feel on top of the world;
  2. You’re sailing smoothly through pregnancy;
  3. You feel totally connected to yourself and your life.

Then, we probably shouldn’t work together. It sounds to me like you are nailing it! Yes! Go forth, and be awesome.

Just because you’re awesome doesn’t mean we can’t stay in touch
